Anja has co-authored three books on outsourcing (2008), e-commerce (2001) and the millennium bug (1998). She has written over 100 articles and speaks on IT, outsourcing and telecoms. Anja is former Co-President of the Outsourcing Committee of the Information Technology Law Association (Itechlaw) as well as former Vice President of the E Commerce Committee of Itechlaw, and former Board member of the CIO Academy, and teached IT and liability, E commerce and Open Source at the Grotius Academy.

Whitebridge Advocatuur has been Member of the ITECHLAW planning committee of the European Conference 2013, which took place in October 2013 in Amsterdam.

Anja was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 1991, after graduating at the University of Amsterdam with qualifications in both Dutch Law and Legal Public Administration. She also graduated with a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University School of Law.

Current side activities

Anja Dekhuijzen is President of the New York University Alumni Association of the Netherlands.

Anja is since the start Jury Member of the Annual Dutch Outsourcing Prices (Tommies).

From 2010 until 2019 Anja wrote on outsourcing and public procurement law in each issue of Outsourcing Magazine, and on GDPR in each issue of CDO Magazine. Since 2019 Anja writes on IT law and GDPR in each issue of CIO Magazine.
